How each number is worked out
- Net sales
- SALES rows on a tax invoice or credit note for CUSTOMER orders: qty × rate × rate factor × FX × (1 − order discount), plus the order's DTM and screen charges once on its first invoice. Freight and GST are excluded. Dated by invoice date.
- Orders (intake)
- ORDERS lines by PO date, qty × rate used (typed rate, else the price list) after the order discount. Cancelled lines and double entries are excluded.
- Quantity
- Ribbons in yards and bows in pieces – never added together. With "All" selected, pick Ribbons or Bows to chart quantity.
- Open order book
- OPEN and PARTIAL lines today; value = order value × balance ÷ order qty. Overdue = committed date has passed.
- On-time delivery
- Lines that became COMPLETED in the period whose last dispatch was on or before the committed date, out of completed lines that have a committed date.
- Book-to-bill
- Orders ₹ ÷ net sales ₹ in the same period. Above 1 = order book growing.
- Like-for-like
- When the period is still running, the comparison period is cut at the same day (e.g. 1–29 Sep vs 1–29 Sep last year, or vs the same number of days of the previous week / month / quarter).
- Customers
- Reports roll up by customer. A customer with several accounts is reported as one customer, with its accounts shown underneath. Internal HQ transfers and inventory orders are excluded unless "Incl. HQ / stock" is chosen.
